Final Census Reminder
FIRE ADVISORY IN EFFECT
Our census team will be wrapping up in the community soon. If you haven’t had a chance to complete your questionnaire yet, there’s still time.

If we haven’t connected with you yet, or you still need to complete your questionnaire, we encourage you to take the time to complete it when an enumerator reaches out.

YOUTH BASEBALL & EQUIPTMENT DONATIONS
Youth baseball equipment donations and all donations can be dropped off at the Recreation during business regular business hours or contact recreation team if needed to be pick up.
TREATY DAY - JULY 30TH
Dry vegetation, warm temperatures, gusty afternoon winds, and isolated convective thundershowers have created conditions that are conducive to wildfire spread. Please exercise caution with any activities that may pose a fire risk.
Under this advisory:
• Existing fire permits remain valid; however, extension requests may not be approved. Permit holders must continue to follow all safe burning conditions outlined on their permits.
• New fire permits will not be issued for non-essential heavy fuel burning, including machine-piled brush piles and windrows.
• New fire permits for essential burning activities will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Prohibited:
• Any burning without a valid fire permit, other than a campfire, is prohibited.
We recommend that landowners who have conducted burning activities during the summer revisit burn sites and ensure all fires are fully extinguished and cold to the touch.
