The Recreation Department of O’Chiese First Nation is committed to embodying the fundamental values of the 7 Grandfather Teachings: love, humility, truth, courage, respect, wisdom, and honesty. Our mission is to serve and assist our community members by coordinating, and overseeing various programs, activities, and events. We strive to offer financial aid for all O’Chiese band member youth fees, recreation actively pursues funding through our fundraising efforts and grant applications to offset youth initiatives. We also create volunteer opportunities for young adults and adults in our community, that align with the values of O’Chiese First Nation members.
