Simple Ways to Stretch Your Money!
- Turn the thermostat down while you sleep and turn it up in the morning
- Put on a sweater or use a blanket to keep the thermostat at a lower temperature
- Enjoy natural heat open the curtains on sunny days
- Don’t keep opening the refrigerator as it uses too much energy
- Lower the temperature on your hot water heater
- Change your filters
- Only use your dishwasher when it is completely full
- Set your washer to cold, do not use hot water
- Hang dry your clothes or use a clothesline
- Use fluorescent light bulbs
- Use a low flow showerhead to use less hot water
- Switch off lights when not in use
